About the Pathway

The Teaching Futures Pathway is delivered as part of the High Achieving Teachers (HAT) Program: Phase 2 Expansion Pilots with the support of the Australian Government Department of Education. The Teaching Futures Pathway is an innovative program from the UniSA supported Education Futures Academy (EFA) that enhances existing Master of Teaching programs by supporting outstanding candidates to transition from other careers while being deeply immersed in school environments.

The Pathway is a groundbreaking 2.5-year employment-based route to teaching that addresses these challenges head-on. We partner with schools to provide aspiring teachers with real-world experiences that contribute meaningfully to your school community. Our Pathway brings together motivated future educators and experienced mentors to create a dynamic environment for learning, growth and professional development.

Our Process

Start in a support role, advance to teaching and earn Provisional teacher Registration – all with comprehensive support and financial assistance, so you don’t have to find external work

Your Teaching Pathway​
