About the Pathway
The Teaching Futures Pathway* is an innovative program from the UniSA supported Education Futures Academy (EFA) that enhances existing Master of Teaching programs by supporting outstanding candidates to transition from other careers while being deeply immersed in school environments.
The Pathway is a groundbreaking 2.5-year employment-based route to teaching that addresses these challenges head-on. We partner with schools to provide aspiring teachers with real-world experiences that contribute meaningfully to your school community. Following graduation, you will receive an additional year of support, working alongside experienced mentors to continue developing your skills and making an impact in your host school. The Teaching Futures Pathway is designed for driven individuals ready to bring their diverse talents into teaching while engaging in meaningful professional development. Our Pathway brings together motivated future educators and experienced mentors to create a dynamic environment for learning, growth and professional development.
*The Teaching Futures Pathway is delivered as part of the High Achieving Teachers (HAT) Program: Phase 2 Expansion Pilots with the support of the Australian Government Department of Education.
