More Information
Your visit will include:
- Computational thinking for problem solving – Students will participate in activities designed to
introduce them to, and foster their understanding of, algorithmic thinking and problem solving as an
integral foundation for coding.
- Computational thinking concepts illustrated by Sphero RVRs – Students will apply their knowledge
to a number of simple tasks using block coding and the Sphero RVRs. This will illustrate some
important programming concepts that they will need to apply to their embodied tasks.
- Sphero challenges – This final session of the first day will pose three challenges – the barn dance, coded initials, maze making and maze running. Students will progress around the stations and solve the problems in groups.
