Examine the range of sharing and fraction tasks in the Junior/ Primary column, and their relationship to different mathematics strands (e.g., number, measurement, Geometry and space, Patterning and Algebra, Data and Probability).
Choose at least two of these strands from the Australian Curriculum and map the content descriptors that are relevant to sharing/ splitting and rational number understanding across F-2 within that strand.
Link the concepts/ ideas from our number sense framework you were introduced to in topic two, learning experience 1, to each content descriptor. The measurement strand has been provided as an example for you.
