Haoran is a Connect Program Assistant at Adelaide University, supporting the preparation, administration, and delivery of Careers Compass programs that enhance students’ career awareness, self-efficacy, and post-school pathways. He contributes to logistics and facilitation of the program, working closely with school partners and university student mentors to ensure high-quality program delivery and supports secondary school students to explore future pathways and build confidence in their decision-making.

Haoran also leads and facilitates the Computational Thinking Through Technology program for Year 5 and 6 students across the Adelaide metropolitan area, delivering structured, hands-on learning experiences that develop students’ problem-solving capabilities through computational thinking and algorithmic logic.

With a background in Physics, Mathematics, and Secondary Education, Haoran’s experience as a secondary school science and mathematics teacher strengthens his ability to design, deliver, and adapt engaging learning programs, deepens his understanding of student learning needs, and enhances his effectiveness in facilitating meaningful educational experiences. He has also worked as a university workshop tutor, supporting courses in integrated teaching, vocational education, and evidence-informed practice, and contributing to the development of pre-service teachers.
