Welcome to the MMS parent resource hub! Here you will find a range of resources to help you promote early, appropriate mathematical ideas with your child that are embedded in picture storybooks. On this site, you will find information about four numeracy indicators, which describe the types of mathematical ideas and concepts that young children typically explore in everyday play experiences. We provide you with information on two specific tools – spatial language and gesture, which help you extend and develop your child’s mathematical understanding. Finally, we provide you with a range of playful activities you can continue at home, to further enhance your child’s learning potential.
