Background information

This unit will focus on three different environments found within Australia (water, bush, and farmland).

We will look at systems within these three environments, to provide a variety of opportunities for students to utilise systems thinking.

We acknowledge that as the classroom teacher you have a clearer understanding of your students’ capabilities.

Please use these resources as you see fit – you may like to do whole class reading/exploring of themes, or small groups, or set individual tasks. You may wish to use a variety of tools such as videos, short films, newspapers to develop students baseline knowledge.
