In this collaborative online activity, you will engage in back casting to envision and explore the future of AI in education.
Backcasting is a technique that involves starting from a desired future state and working backward to identify the steps needed to reach that state.

Through this activity, you are invited to access our board to collectively imagine the possibilities and implications of AI in education, identify potential challenges and opportunities, and outline actionable steps to realize the following future:
“By 2033, AI has revolutionized the student experience in education, creating personalized, immersive, and inclusive learning environments that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning.”
You will work backward to identify the necessary steps or milestones to reach this future state. You are encouraged to consider technological advancements, policy changes, infrastructure requirements, teacher training, and ethical considerations.
You should add your contribution to the roadmap outlining the key milestones and actions needed to realize their scenario.
