Using a piece of paper and a pen, draw (without using any words or letters) the process of making toast.

How does this task of drawing toast represent what you’ve learned about systems?

Think about an experience you may have had or heard about, where one change in a social system has led to an unforeseen effect.

This might include something like:

• Your bus running late, meaning you miss a connecting bus and then miss out on an important part of a class
• Someone posting a quick comment to social media that gets widely shared and changes how people think about or treat the person
• A teacher changing who everyone sits with in class, leading to different students contributing to class discussions
• A rule change in a sport that causes people to play differently

Your teacher may lead a discussion on this, but otherwise, consider them yourself.
