Equipment Supplies

Electronics Kits

Arduino Grove Beginner Kit (as supplied in the starter pack) can be purchased from Seed Studio, note these prices are in USD, or they can be purchased locally from Core Electronics.

The Duinotech kits with Arduino Uno Boards (as supplied in the starter pack) can be purchased from Electus.

If your school is using the Duinotech kits with Arduino Mega boards (as supplied in previous years) and wish to purchase more, these are available from Jaycar.

Additional components such as ultrasonic or infra red sensors can be purchased from Altronics.

Note: Purchasing multiple kits/components or shopping around can help reduce the price further.

If schools are interested in soldering and learning about electronics components a variety of Electronics Kits can be purchased from AU Outreach. We have kits including Game 4, which contains 16 functions built into the board and is a great entry level board, over engineered to cope with backwards LEDs and other common errors to ensure the students get the kit functioning. We also have more advanced kits including Music Matcher which creates an octave of capacitive touch keys allowing simple tunes to be played, as well as in built memory and reaction rate games.

Adelaide University also offers a short online course learning about Arduino coding. For information about this course or to enrol students, please visit this AU webpage.
