Assessment one
Students are provided the link to the Dynamic systems game.

Students are asked to complete levels 1, 2, 3 independently (please use your discretion with this, you may like to work with a small group, or pair students).
Once at Level 4 students are asked to:
- Identify and take note of all nodes
- Choose one node – describe how the node interacts with the wider system.
Complete as many levels as possible (stopping at Level 10).
Once students have reached their highest playing point, they are asked to:
- Choose a node
- Explain what the node is connected to
- Explain the importance of the node to the overall system
We have also provided an extension activity:
- Suggest a change to the node which would support the system to work more efficiently
- Compare the way you completed level 10 with a classmate, was their solution more efficient? What is different about the solutions? If you used the same method, work together to find an alternative solution
